Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Patriot AI Holdings LLC, a California limited liability company (“Patriot AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company that operates Parlo. Parlo includes our AI phone agent for businesses (“Parlo for Business”) and our consumer personal assistant (“Parlo Personal,” together the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Parlo provides AI-powered voice and text agents that answer, screen, place, and summarize phone calls and messages on a phone number you connect or that we provision for you. Parlo for Business gives a business an AI receptionist that answers calls, follows your instructions, captures messages, can make outbound calls, can reply to text messages, and produces transcripts and summaries. Parlo Personal gives an individual an assistant that screens incoming calls, rings you in the Parlo app for people you designate, and collects the rest into an inbox with summaries and transcripts.

The Service uses automated systems and third-party artificial-intelligence models to understand and respond to callers. Its behavior depends on the instructions and settings you provide, and on the words and audio it receives.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly through parlovoice.com/support if you believe your account has been compromised.

Organizations. A Parlo for Business account belongs to an organization. Its owners control the account: they manage billing, add and remove people, and decide who else is an owner. Everyone you add to an organization can see its calls, transcripts, and settings, so add only people who should have that access. You are responsible for the actions of the people you add.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. Some plans include usage-based charges (for example, call minutes) in addition to a base fee; those charges are billed for the period in which the usage occurs.

  • You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for all fees you incur.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We may change prices or plan features on notice; changes apply to the billing period after the notice. Your continued use after a price change is your acceptance of it.
  • Taxes may apply and are your responsibility.

4. Phone numbers and telephony

The Service relies on telephone numbers and carrier services provided through our telephony providers. When we provision a number for you, you receive a right to use it while your subscription is active; you do not own it. If your subscription ends, the number may be released and reassigned, and forwarding you configured may stop working. If you port a number in or out, you are responsible for following the applicable carrier and porting requirements.

You are responsible for how you route calls to the Service (including any call-forwarding you enable on your own line) and for any charges your own carrier imposes.

5. Call transcription, disclosures, and consent — your responsibility

To provide the Service, Parlo transcribes and analyzes calls and messages handled by your agent, and processes call audio in real time. Recording, transcribing, and monitoring calls is regulated, some jurisdictions require the consent of all parties, and some require telling people when they are talking to an automated system. By default, Parlo Personal’s assistant tells callers who are not in your contacts that it is an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded, but it does not repeat that to people you have saved as contacts, and you can change your assistant’s instructions. Parlo for Business agents have no default disclosure; what a caller hears depends on your agent’s greeting and instructions. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable call-recording, wiretapping, consent, AI-disclosure, and privacy laws in every jurisdiction relevant to you and your callers, including by configuring the disclosures your callers hear. You must not disable or alter disclosures in a way that makes your use unlawful.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to, and not to allow anyone to:

  • violate any law, or send calls or messages in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Do-Not-Call rules, anti-spam laws, or similar regulations;
  • make unsolicited robocalls or bulk calls/texts without a lawful basis and required consents;
  • harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or deceive any person, or facilitate illegal activity;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from the Service, or interfere with its operation, security, or other users;
  • upload or transmit malware, or scrape or harvest data without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or that create legal or security risk.

7. AI output — no guarantees; not for emergencies

The Service is automated and uses AI models that can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. We do not guarantee that the agent will answer every call, understand every caller, follow every instruction, correctly interpret every name, date, time, or request, or produce error-free transcripts or summaries. When the agent reads something back to you for confirmation — such as a reminder time, a calendar event, or a guest — you are responsible for checking it before you confirm. Output is provided for your convenience and is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

The Service is not an emergency service. Do not rely on Parlo to place, receive, or route calls to 911 or other emergency services, or for any situation where a failure to connect could lead to injury, loss, or harm. Always keep an independent way to reach emergency services.

8. Your content and license to us

You retain ownership of the information, instructions, contacts, transcripts, calendar information from accounts you connect, and other content associated with your account (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content, and to share it with the service providers described in our Privacy Policy, solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and as otherwise permitted by that policy. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide Your Content and to have it processed by the Service.

9. Referrals and credits

We may offer a referral program that grants account credit when someone you refer becomes a paying customer. Unless you turn it off in Settings, your Parlo Personal assistant may offer callers a link to try Parlo, and referrals it makes count as yours. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money except where required by law. We may change, limit, or discontinue the referral program at any time, and we may withhold credit for referrals we reasonably determine to be fraudulent, self-referrals, or otherwise abusive.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks (including “Parlo”), is owned by Patriot AI and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. We may use anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you or your callers to operate and improve the Service.

11. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party providers — including telephony and in-app calling (Twilio), AI models (OpenAI and TypeSafe AI), payments (Stripe), push notifications (Expo and Apple), and infrastructure providers. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

Accounts you connect. You may choose to connect third-party accounts such as Google Calendar or Calendly. By connecting one, you authorize us to access that account and act on it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy — for example, to check your availability, read your schedule back to you, create events you ask for, send invitations to guests you name, and book appointments with callers. You represent that you have the right to connect the account and to share the information in it, your use of that service remains subject to its own terms, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings. Events, invitations, and bookings are made on your instructions and your agent’s configuration; you are responsible for reviewing them, and for any invitation sent to a guest or booking made with a caller through your account.

Systems you connect to a Business agent. If you connect your agent to your own systems or a third party’s (custom tools), you direct us to send them the caller and call information your configuration requires. You are responsible for those systems, for having the right to send them that information, and for how they use it.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CALLS OR MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED, ANSWERED, OR RECORDED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL SUCH WARRANTIES.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATRIOT AI AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR MISSED CALLS OR MESSAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Patriot AI from and against any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party — including any claim relating to call recording, consent, or unsolicited calls or texts.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or create legal or security risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us through parlovoice.com/support and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Patriot AI regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
